Happy Friday, friends! Here’s a little sneak peek photograph inside the Loving Coastal Living walls! Most are Lightning Whelks, although there’s a horse conch mixed in there too. Texas gulf coast is notorious for lightning whelks, and lots of the tiny islands around the laguna will have empty, and housed, whelks. We only collect the empty ones and leave the other big mama shells to grow & produce baby whelks. You have to go by kayak or boat, but it’s always a good time!
Last week we shared the news the we’ll be adding Cut Nautilus Shells to our store soon. Here’s a much more professional shot of those fabulous sliced nautilus shells! Thank you Jet Yonkin, for sharing your work. We can’t wait to see your finished photo shoot of the shells!
And here’s an example of another sliced nautilus! This is our triple sliced center cut shell, isn’t it gorgeous?
Below shows us working on our new nautical line of Beach Wedding Favors. I’m loving it! What do y’all think??
On a different note, earlier this week we said goodbye to our dear old buddy, Dangus the bloodhound. He will forever be in our hearts! Thank you for all the condolences on our Facebook page sent for my old boy, y’all have helped lift me up for sure! It’s certainly not the same around here without his big bellow of a bark, and not one single trash can has been tipped over with trash strung everywhere, lol. Thank you for giving us some time to mourn our friend, Dangus the Bloodhound.
Speaking of Facebook, I “SEA” we’re getting closer to our Facebook goal! 82 more people to go, but the end of August will be approaching us soon, so please help spread the word and share our link with your friends and family.
Give us a LIKE if you haven’t already!
