We’re Loving Coastal Living in Autumn

It’s nearly here…Autumn!  Are you ready friends?  Many of us have suffered through horrendous heat this summer, so a bit of cooler weather is welcomed by most.  This time of year, we often hear, “I don’t know how to decorate for Fall since my house has beach and/or nautical decor.” It’s really easier than you think!

Think about the colors of Autumn at the beach: driftwood, sand, dried dune grass, clouds, grey skies and tangerine sunsets.  Nature provides us with the perfect color palette for Autumn. Here are some handcrafted beach house accents, which all work beautify during the cooler months of the year.

Love the warm colors this handcrafted Wreath has to offer. It’s perfect for Fall and Winter, but gorgeous as an indoor decor piece year round. The wreath has many beautiful shells, and starfish for a coastal and natural flare. The majority of the shells are some of my most treasured shells from an island named Palua. We hand collected many of the seed pods, and various natural items to add to the wreath as well. The Magnolia Seed Pods actually have every little seed fixed in place with industrial strength glue so they’re sure to stay put for a long lasting look. There are also various Sea Beans, sand dollars, feathers and other fabulous finds included in the wreath.

You’ll enjoy a beautiful collection of land and sea which meet in the rustic driftwood and shell mirror featured below. Each piece of driftwood was hand selected off the Gulf of Mexico’s shoreline, as well as many of the tiny sea shells you see featured in this mirror. The variety of sea shells consists 90% of hand collected shells- right down to the small sand dollar doves throughout the frame. I am delighted to present this to you all, and hope this one of a kind mirror will be proudly hanging on the walls of your Coastal Abode.

Two Great Finds in One! This vintage sea debris, washed ashore bottle is topped with a fabulous small piece of vintage coral direct from my collection. The bottle shows it beauty of raw, natural distress from being tossed around the oceans waves. I have topped it nicely with a fabulous piece of white coral branch. The duo makes a perfect accent piece for any room, and adds a bit of coastal flare to any decor.

In honor of the fabulous color of the year- Tangerine Tango (and also perfect for Autumn!). This lovely brightly colored frame is sure to spice up any photo, or small art print. Decor with this vibrant pop of color in any room of the house. All the sea shells are white tones, and it includes a sugar starfish on opposite corners.
